Nakaoka Shintaro (中岡 慎太郎) is a samurai of the Shogunate era and a close friend of Sakamoto Ryouma.

Nakaoka has green hair and black eyes.
Plot[]
In Episode 28, shortly after Okita and Sakamoto exited from the field, Nakaoka arrived and asked to Tenma where Ryouma had gone. As he didn't know, he invites Raimon to their base. Arriving there, he promptly made a tea to them. When Kinako opened the window to have a look of outside, Nakaoka quickly closed it, saying that if they were seen, the Shinsengumi would immediately arrive there. Later, while Raimon was practicing in a riverbank, he came with the notice that the shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu was demanding a conference with Sakamoto. As Tenma and the others becames surprised, he said to them that this would probably be a trap. Hearing this, Fei suggested them to use Inazuma TM Caravan to go there, as it would be the safer way.
